How Hair Laser Treatment Works

Hair laser treatment is one of the most effective ways to get rid of unwanted hair. How it Works

Hair laser treatment is very simple, but uses a very complex tool.  When you go in for a hair laser treatment a specially trained technician will use a very powerful laser to get rid of your unwanted hair.  The laser is applied by pointing it at the area of the body where you want to have the hair laser treatment done.  The laser has a very fine point and can be targeted to reach even just a tiny area like your upper lip.  Many people choose to get laser hair treatment done for unwanted facial hair because the hair laser treatment can be pinpointed to a very small point and because it’s painless and permanent.  Once the laser is applied to the skin the laser targets that hair follicle and damages it so that it won’t grow any more hair.  During a laser hair treatment the laser targets the follicle of every piece of hair that is in the area that is being treated.  Then, once the hair follicles are all damaged and won’t work anymore the hair laser treatment is done.

What it Does

After the hair follicle is permanently disabled the hair that already existed in that area will fall out.  It may start to fall out immediately after the hair laser treatment or it might take up two weeks after the hair laser treatment for all of the hair that was treated during the hair laser treatment to fall out but it will eventually fall out. If the hair doesn’t fall out then you might need to go back for another laser hair treatment because the technician may have missed a few hairs.  Some people do have a little bit of hair regrowth but if that happens it just means that the follicle wasn’t damaged enough.  Another hair laser treatment should solve the problem. Most people need to have at least two or three hair laser treatments, depending on how large of an area you want to remove the hair from.
